Course overview
Public-private partnerships can help governments deliver infrastructure and services by combining public objectives with private finance and expertise. However, poorly prepared PPPs can create long-term fiscal risks.
This Aractech course explains PPP models, legal and institutional frameworks, project identification and appraisal, value for money, risk allocation, procurement, contract management and fiscal risk management from the government perspective. Participants appraise a PPP case.
The course suits officials in ministries, PPP units and contracting authorities.
