Introduction

Course overview

Contractors often carry out the highest-risk work and are involved in a disproportionate share of serious incidents. Clients remain responsible for ensuring contractors work safely on their sites.

This Aractech course covers the contractor safety life cycle: risk-based pre-qualification, HSE requirements in contracts, selection, induction, planning, supervision, monitoring, performance evaluation and close-out. Participants build a contractor safety management process for their organisation.

Practical tools and case studies help organisations integrate contractors into their safety culture.
