Introduction

Course overview

Well integrity is the application of technical, operational and organisational solutions to reduce the risk of uncontrolled release of fluids throughout the life of a well. Loss of well integrity can lead to blowouts, environmental contamination and major financial losses.

This Aractech course covers well barrier philosophy, well design for integrity, barrier verification and testing, annulus pressure management, integrity during production, intervention and abandonment, and the management systems that support well integrity. Participants learn how to assess well integrity status, manage anomalies and maintain compliance with industry standards.

The course draws on industry guidance and real well integrity incidents to provide practical, applicable knowledge.
