Introduction

Course overview

Fuels and petroleum products must meet strict quality specifications for performance, safety and environmental compliance. Off-spec products cause customer claims, equipment damage, regulatory penalties and commercial losses.

This Aractech course explains product specifications for gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, fuel oil, LPG and lubricants, the standard test methods used to verify them, sampling, quality control in storage and distribution, contamination prevention and handling of quality disputes. Participants learn to interpret certificates of quality and laboratory results.

The course is valuable for laboratory, operations, terminal, trading and quality staff.
