Introduction

Course overview

Oil and gas projects are large, complex and risky, often involving remote locations, multiple contractors, advanced technology and strict safety requirements. Many projects suffer cost and schedule overruns because of weak front-end planning and control.

This Aractech course applies project management practice to oil and gas, covering stage-gate processes, front-end loading, project organisation, contracting strategy, planning and scheduling, cost control, risk management, HSE in projects and commissioning and handover. Participants work on a realistic project case throughout the week.

The course helps project professionals deliver safer and more predictable outcomes.
