Course overview
Industrial activities generate large quantities of waste, some of it hazardous. Poor waste management causes pollution, legal liabilities and wasted resources.
This Aractech course covers waste legislation, classification, the waste hierarchy, minimisation, segregation and storage, transport and documentation, treatment and disposal options, hazardous waste, recycling and circular approaches, and waste management plans. Participants audit waste streams and develop improvement actions.
The course combines compliance and resource efficiency perspectives.
