Introduction

Course overview

Cathodic protection prevents corrosion of buried and submerged steel structures such as pipelines, tanks and marine structures. Poorly designed or maintained systems allow costly corrosion damage.

This Aractech course covers corrosion and cathodic protection principles, galvanic and impressed current systems, design basics, installation, monitoring and surveys, interference, troubleshooting and maintenance. Participants interpret CP survey data.
